I don't care about cricket nor about irfan or whichever pathan. Just stumbled on this thread and wanted to say that having khan in your name doesn't mean that you are pathan. My grandfather had khan in his name but he was a punjabi jatt. None of his children have khan in their names.

Just because you have pathan or khan in your name does not mean you are a true pathan.
Moin Khan is not a pathan, Younus Khan most definitely is Actor Feroz Khan is a pathan and he looks like one. Dilip Kumar is a pathan too.
Yusuf Pathan does n't look pathan to me. And it isn't just about complexion but also facial features. I could be wrong though

i think most Pakistanies have rejected the idea that he is a Pathan, and even an Indian said he could be pathan he could be sirdasi or whatever. Point is, his pathanness is alleged at best.

I guess Yousuf Pathan is not a ‘real’ pathan since he lacks jewish blood in him to give him fair looks and all. I am sure he is not complaining.

Genuine Pathans form 1/4th of our national identity, and therefore it is a serious matter for Pakistanies. Let me repeat the example i gave before. if I play with the name of Ravage Gujrati and people start opening threads saying A Gujju of all times, Is Ravage worst Gujrati player ever?? you would be annoyed.
