Anyhow. One can name anything what one wish to.

Marriage is between man and woman.**
It has nothing to do with religion. Since religions can be different and irreligious people can still be considered ‘married’ if they are of different sex willing to live for the sake of companionship, bringing legally, morally (and if desired-religiously) acceptable offspring and they have announced their relationship to community. It is a civil act not really a religious act per se.
Having said that, mere attraction and sexual relationship between same sex individuals is unnatural, morally unacceptable and religiously prohibited hence there is no such thing as same sex or gay marriage.
Key point is that it has to do with natural instinct of opposite sex individuals.
