There was a whole community (bani israel) was doomed because of being ungrateful, no one mentions them so why the extra hatred towards becharay gays (most of them don’t even know about Islam).
islam tells us to hate the sin not the sinner. So if you can’t show them any compassion then no need for damning them either.
