i think the whole point of being a feminist is that you cannot tell her what to do or how to lead her life. You should not label a person something (which our brain always loves to do …categorize people and then ascribe a certain set of characteristics to them …because it is so much more convenient and easier to think this way) and say that a feminist should only behave in such and such way…this is another form of social control and having a choice to not accept a particular social control in my opinion is what a person should have like someone said “man is born free but everywhere he is in chains”…
a woman fighting against domestic violence is fighting social control…and is labeled a feminist, a woman posting stuff on a discussion board might be labeled one…(she might be doing zilch practically) …
in my opinion a woman getting married and having kids still has the right to demand equality in other aspects. i agree it is not an ideal situation but envisioning an ideal situation is what the brain does best. we have to think outside the label, the category and look at it from an individuals point of view too.
nothing is absolutely necessary…nothing is still worth destroying yourself over…you do it, you dont do it…its really up to you…that is, if only YOU let it be. you also have the choice of going with the flow though.

this is just how i look at it though. you have a right to believe in your definition of a feminist all the same.

if you don’t wanna be labelled feminist then don’t defend it:blush:…
