i think many desi men who r living outside the country can not only cook but can also do other household works as they r all alone n have 2 manage everything all alone :)

many of the ones that have been living in the west are like that but many of the ones from pakistan or india have to have everything done for them b/c there they have the maids washing dishes and cleaning the houses, gardeners, drivers so they don't have to lift a finger to fix anything or clean or cook.
it depends on their mothers, if mom teaches them to be more independent then it'll help his future wife

sadly in an ideal romantic pre-shadi’s preconceived notions fall only the husband cooking something yummy and both the hubs and wife eating a candle lit dinner.
But behind the scene is a whole lot of trash, dirty dishes piled up in the sink and all the masalas misplaced when a man cooks usually
