The good news though is that it can be fixed. First step is talk to her. She might have real hard time trusting but you can use different tactics, being really polite at one time and a bit harsh at others (but don’t start scolding, may be try emotional blackmailing) and something will definitely work which will make her discuss issues.

Hypothetical & all but emotionally blackmailing someone who has trust issues would prove all her doubts true.If she opened up & trusted u and u used that info to emotionally blackmail .

I’d say counselling was the best best.Specially retreats etc which not only give counseling & advice but a new location which is a change & develops hobbies/interests.

so much effort 4 a hypothetical situation .atleast lahoretolondon claimed to be in the problem himself:snooty:. btw people who have a history of abuse have personalities that are either strong portraying a facade or shy .just psy cases studies .It’s not possible over all the years to be bland as u portray.
