my reply to points mentioned in page/link you gave is in bold text.
- Not adopting the ‘aqeedah of Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa’ah
is preaching aqeedah more important then Dawah itself???
2 – Their not paying attention to shar’i knowledge.
no reference given, simply saying “they dont pay attention to shar’i knowledge” does not make sense
3 – Their misinterpretation of some Qur’aanic verses in a manner that was not intended by Allaah. For example they interpret the verses on jihad as referring to “going out for da’wah”. The verses which mentioned the word khurooj (going out) etc. are interpreted by them as meaning going out for da’wah.
** I have been listening them, i never come across such interpretation by them however if think that they are wrong on this, you can bring a concrete source/reference. Even, Dr. Zakir Naik says literal meaning of Jihah is struggle.**
4 – They make their system of going out for da’wah an act of worship. So they started to misquote the Qur’aan to support their system which specifies certain numbers of days and months. This system, which they think is based on evidence from Qur’aan, is widespread among them in all countries and environments.
Bring concrete source where they say that following specific number of days for dawah is mandatory???

No thx i dont want to discuss other points as ive done it so many times before… ive myslef seen how they neglect their families and go on so called “Tablighi Chillas” or as what i call them “Tablighi Honeymoons”!. I’ll just paste here a discussion i had last year with them and also a few links so ppl may understand… also once there was a jamaat of JUD (jamaat ud dawa) in kashmir and these tablighis came there and offered our lead to go out for tabligh J, my God we are here on jihad and they are calling us to go for chillas… so our amir said that we cant at this time as we are on a battle mission but then the leader of these tablighis said that you must first know deen then do jihad… our ameer then said ok you ppl are 6 in number so he started asking every1 how many years he has been into tabligh… some said 2 yrs some 4 some 3… so he said ok why don’t you all except one replace us and continue our jihad as you have spent years in tabligh and since we don’t know deen we’ll go with your amir on tabligh! The next moment these tablighis fled away… cowards! Also these tablighis brag so much about tariq jamil and fazail e amal so this was my reply:
“Why so much arrogance that fazail e amal is the most read book after Quran? What non sense? It’s full of errors and mistakes and made up stories… why don’t u teach Ahadith instead? What about the other great scholars like imams of haramain? are they also misguided? why do they say that tablighi jamaat is a deviant group? And by the way they are salafi/ahle hadith and not humbali as u are misguiding ppl about them… ive been into religion since childhood and had a great chance to learn Islam a lot in saudi arabia… and now im a student of MA Islamic studies and get to meet gr8 scholars of Islam… i dont understand why ppl are so obsessed with tariq jameel? Tariq jameel is just another madrassa molvi who uses ‘ghulu’ exaggeration and self-made stories and reliance on fabricated ahadith. I hrd a speech of Tariq jamil on history of 100 yrs whr hes just demoting jihad and as always using ghulu and making up that unnatural accent of his just to attract ppl… I wonder how these newly born made in raiwand made in braili made in deoband know the best islam and arabs don’t know anything? Huh? Strange! And I forgot to mention their chillas, ya leave behind ur families and goto tablighi honeymoons and call it a sunnah! SUNNAH is to go out for qital fi sabeelil, jihad fi sabeelila. These tablighis shld now leave behind their blind taqlidi narrow mindedness! Let’s do some research and see who is really right and wrong? these tablighis deobandis and brailvis are those who make halala halal by just saying it’s makrooh… yuck, shameful and sick… I guess Prophet was talking abt these ppl whn he said ppl will come who will make zina halal at the end of times… do listen to what attiq ur rehman Kashmiri says about all this (grandson of anwer shah Kashmiri, one of the leading deobandi alims)”

^I mean to say, on blogs, people can say anything about Zakir Naik they want; he is not supposed to reply them. People criticize him on forums and blogs but do not dare to ask him a question or challenge him as he provides an open program/forum “Dare to Ask Dr. Zakir Naik”.
Do U really think that whatever he answer makes sense? For instance when he is asked about why pork is haram? He gives a logical reply which anyone can give, ie coz pork is a filthiest animal. But to show his genius in the end, he adds the following......

Many times after dance parties, they have swapping of wives; i.e. many say “you sleep with my wife and I will sleep with your wife”. If you eat pigs then you behave like pigs. We Indians look upon America to be very advanced and sophisticated. Whatever they do, we follow after a few years. According to an article in Island magazine, this practice of swapping wives has become common in the affluent circles of Mumbai.
The thing to be asked here is, why he has to resort to such comic replies? I hope he hasnt learned the language of pigs to discover that they invite** Their friends to have sex with their mates? He generalizes about Americans who eat pork, how islamic? He speaks like this when there are thousands of mothers and sisters in the audience, how Islamic further?
I myself have the honor to ask him a question, I asked why muslims over the world have abandoned Islamic laws and need to write laws for themselves?

Every group and person has own way of preaching including Tableeghi Jamaat. Zakir Naik is just one of them.
If anyone does not like him then go find someone else.

^Two different ideas. Following or adapting views of someone versus commenting on the thread. Latter is fine.
No one is saying Zakir Naik is full authority on all aspects of religious matters and one can ask him question but does not have to agree with him or follow him. Hence find someone else.

My point still stands, you should have asked Zakir Naik the red part/question instead, it could have given him some "hard time"

I asked, why muslims all over the world, who swear by holy quran, deny to implement its laws on themselves, and find excuses to write down laws for themselves? when ALLAH has already provided them with the best laws. Whats the problem in accepting and implementing Islamic laws for themselves?
He answered, "Although I accept that shariyah laws are not in force anywhere, still if U implement it U will start getting good results" and he went on to tell us why shariyah laws are best, which we already know. In the last, he said hope this answers the question, and took his seat, leaving audience applauding, and myself fuming on his bizarre way of fooling the audience.

Similar questions has posed by many others and he usually replies with car and driver analogy that is "Don’t judge car by its driver!".
For muslims, it is ok to impress them with poetry of Iqbal, but , is that how you convince a non-muslim who poses the same question???

Your language shows us how you are focusing on cursing others than proving your point of view or making here people learn about Islam.
I guess he really answered the question. Its not just about Muslims, good or bad people are everywhere, in any religion. If some Muslims dont follow the Quran properly then there are thousand Hindus too who dont follow there Gita properly, then there are thousands of Christians who dont follow the bible properly… and therefore find excuses to write down laws for themselves..
Dr. Zakir’s answer was right! He accepted the fact you placed infront of him, He as a human, as a Muslim is fulfilling his duty of spreading Islam… what they do after gaining knowledge is not His responsibility. He accepted that its not in force but if once implemented, will give good results.

^ this, actually the question does not make so much sense, the answer lies within the question itself. We as human being , contradict and deceive ourselves in countless ways so we do same when following religious matters.
