your usual dinner time

i think it depends A LOT on what kinda job the couple has… white collar workers all have dinner by 7 max and r in bed by 9. this is our routine. kids have dinner by 6 and sleeping by 7 ..

ones driving taxis, have tuck shops etc… they are the ones eating late dinner. makes sense. we know quite a few of these kinda ppl… it works for them. hough their kids eat at 7 and r in bed way hefore daddy comes home.

Yes I have seen you earlier post.

Do you mean 8am till 10 pm of working hours for your hubby? Man that is long hours?

At least maine aise waise claims nahi kiye hain ke mere office ke sab larkay mujhe hottie kehte hain, poora GS mujhe stalk karta hai, meri body bohut toned hai, main health freak hon aur khidmat-e-khalaq ke tor pe GS walon ko free advice offer ker rahi hon :snooty: :emmy:

Re: your usual dinner time

I think work patterns etc have a lot to do with when you eat. Both my husband and I work, and come home around 6.30, so dinner is around 7/7.30, which we have with my son. He then goes to bed at 8/8.30.

I cook fresh most days (or finish off dishes I’ve started - like put pies in the oven, boil rice, make salad that kind of thing), so I need time to come home get food ready. Plus, I like to sit with my son for a few minutes before heading to the kitchen. However, before I returned to work, food would always be ready by the time my husband came home, so we would eat pretty much straight away.

We still go to bed late though, as by the time we’ve cleared up, prayed got things ready for the next day, discussed days events etc its about 11pm. We’re rarely in bed by midnight.

Re: your usual dinner time

frm 7.30 to 8pm

It used to be around 9 before, when i used to come home late.

Re: your usual dinner time

Loved Season Two.. watched it over 2 days. Season three, cannot wait.

Re: your usual dinner time

Hmmmmm..

I have breakfast around 9:30-11:30 when i get to work (yes it takes me that long to finish it all–coffee, food etc).
Lunch is 3-4.
Dinner is when I come home…so around 10 PM. Very bad :frowning:

Re: your usual dinner time

Yes doctors are fortunate enough to have these long hours once fortnightly

Re: your usual dinner time

On week days between 5:30-6:00 PM or in other words as soon as hubby’s home. I work from home so cook fresh food daily. On weekends it’s a different story as we are always out whether visiting somebody, watching movies, going for outdoor activities so it can be any time between 9-11 PM.

Re: your usual dinner time

Dinner time at our home is 9:30, 10 pm. that’s the norm in Pakistan. we do get enough time in between the dinner time and bedtime though. parents sleep around midnight and i sleep way after that. however the suggested time by the doc to have dinner is by 8pm max.
but when we are in Scotland, we have our dinner by 8:30 pm.

Re: your usual dinner time

I get home at 7:15-7:30. So dinner is after that, around 8 - 8:15.

Sleep time is around 11ish.

Re: your usual dinner time

Dinner is at 7-7:15ish. i feed my son first and then my husband and I eat.

Re: your usual dinner time

I wish my husband was home at that time. He’s not home until 7.30 so dinner is served around then :frowning:
