Your Ring!

Re: Your Ring!

My husband paid it in full with his credit card and then paid off the credit card. He saved up for it before buying it. :)
I think every store has their own way to pay though, some have that no interest for 180 days or something like that.

Re: Your Ring!

Not in my case. When we got engaged, we were both poor college students. My husband couldn't even afford a diamond ring. On my mangni the ring he put on my finger was a cz set in 14K. By our first anniversary he replaced the cz with a diamond and by our 5th he had the diamond set into another new ring with new bands, all flawless.colorless diamonds and all paid in cash.

Yea that's what I was thinking.there is no point in taking out loan for a ring when you are newly graduated. Hope future mrs. Pisiform understands that

Re: Your Ring!

Just get future Mrs. Pisiform a ring from Pakistan. :p

More seriously though, I like the variety of ring and jewelry designs is Pakistan. I get tired of seeing the same cuts and designs in the Western jewelry; it gets boring.

Re: Your Ring!

Or get your diamonds from Dubai! That's what my BFF did and she scored some major deals on flawless diamonds for her ring. There's lots of variety and I think the vendors are probably more trustworthy than Pakistani ones. I say this because my mom tried to exchange some of the jewellery she had from Pakistan and had bought being told it was 22k, only to find out it was more like 18k when they tested it in Dubai. That was annoying.

Re: Your Ring!

Never was into jewelry and wanted to have a minimalist wedding without having either of us to break our banks. He got me an engagement diamond ring and a wedding band and I bought him a wedding band. I never asked or bothered about what cut, carat or the cost of the rings are so honestly I don’t know. I was more excited about the BMW he bought me as a wedding gift
