What is this the 10th century and all people live in the same area there entire life?
Come on now, today you can be in Karachi one day and Vancouver the next. It is impossible to make generalization about people from any one place.
irem baji i guess its the same every where that people living in a cosmopolitan cities are all that or atleast other people think of them as all that. i guess they just have to hussle alot to ye saari qualities aajati hai…
personally i think karachite are very oppertunists i mean since they have a big exposure of the outside world to sab bahir aane ki koshish mein hote hai look at me… to isse yeh bhi kaha jaa sakta hai ke they don’t love pak that much… plz don’t hate for this i ask the same question to my parents as i was born in saudia came back to pak and now in canada to MERA MULAK KONSA HAI

I for one, don't differentitate karachi from other cities of Pakistan .. beside the fact that you can find all sorts of people in karachi which in itself is a good thing.

When Pakistan was made it wasn't just people from Karachi who migrated from India...it was all over. Many went to Lahore, Islamabad, etc.... They just labeled karachi as a "migration" state. We're all Pakistanis...some bad some good some both. I just can't beleive people with the one sided mind. Grow up allready.

Karachi walas are a godsend to Pakistan…
For a country which in '98 boasted an 11% literacy rate of which 9% was from Karachi and Hyderabad, I don’t think Karachiwalas suck that much…
After all, to turn a desert fishing town Kalanchi into a megapolis called Karachi must have taken some doing…No wonder people from the rest of Pakistan flock to its embrace and yet it keeps on giving…
In the words of our old maasi, “Karachi tay ghareebon da daata ai, eehan koi vukhaa nai sotaa ai”…(Karachi is the mentor of the poor, no one sleeps hungry here…)

karachi’s night life, its so happn’n… 
Everyone must have some different experience but I have only met some fine people from karachi.
They speak very fine shusta urdu, which is not very common here. Common man in Lahore I have noticed has very bad linguistic skills. They can’t even speak punjabi properly. 
Other traits are common in every big city
