my longest essay/paper will be due in abt 2 months..
its going to be like 7-8 pages long..its a research paper...so i am guessing i'll find lots of stuff to "paraphrase"
mine is Compare and contrast two films "“Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge & Bend it Like Beckham”, consider the historical and social contexts of production.
were the film produced in India and abroad?
who is the intended audience for these films?
-which diasporic experience do the films represent?
how the narratives are structurered, consider the role of songs and dances, interruptions, mise en scène (he setting or surroundings of an event or action.)
frontality
spectacle
elements
representation of gender and sexuality
the representation of the family
the representation of class and labor
the use of costume in both the films
the representation of culture and tradition
the formal (visual and auditory) style of films.
beside this i have five other essays (of difference courses), but this is the first one i have to do
i am only having problems with the historical and social contexts of production.
btw for your topic…ask HDF people over here (i mean on GS)…
i can't send u the complete copy because the other girl put the whole thing together, combining every1's part...but i can send u the part that i wrote :)
(when i'm on the other computer, that is..lol)
No matter hte length of hte paper, I LOVE to type my papers in a super small font, arial, and single spaced. The final effect of double-spcaing it, enlarging the font and using proper text, is just amazing :D
what about you uncle?
in fact i should be asking you that how is the experience reading all those 4-6K+15 scholarly sources+ annotated bibliography papers of 40-400 students?
sometimes i feel that teachers not only make our lives miserable but also make their not less a hell. what ya say?
seriously if i ever do like you do, after writing a para i am always tempted to make 12- time font and then i continue writing in that setting :hinna:
