I am here to ask you guys to get involved in a project that a special 14th August team is working on. That project is to create a mini presentation that includes Gupshup members’ audio/video/image clips, a short introduction about themselves and where they live, and any message that you would like to convey to your fellow guppies. Here are the details:
Format: It can be a 15-20 seconds long AudioOR a Video clip.
For Video:
It can be a **member’s **video facing the camera and the message in the format that I will mention below.
It can be an audio clip backed by personal images to go in the background while the audio is playing your message.
It can be an audio clip backed by images of your town/picnic/wedding etc. to go in the background while the audio is playing your message.
EDIT: TLK SAID THAT WE MUST NEED AT LEAST ONE PICTURE OF YOUR TOWN; EITHER FROM INTERNET OR TAKEN PERSONALLY.
For Audio:
It can be just an audio clip if you don’t feel comfortable sharing images.
You can choose to remain anonymous if you wish, just don’t mention your name.
The message can be in .wav or .mp3 format but please be sure that it’s clear.
**Message Template: **I know that we all are very patriotic and love our languages. I would really like the submissions in a Pakistani Language (Punjabi, Urdu, Sindhi, Saraiki, Pashto etc. etc. etc.) because this is for Pakistan’s Independence Day. I realize that some of us young Pakistanis live abroad and they feel more comfortable speaking English, that is acceptable as well but a Pakistani Language would be preferred.
You don’t have to follow this sample but I have something like this in mind:
Deadline: We would like all submissions (Images/Audio/Video) by July 15. You can upload videos on youtube and share the link here or via PM (to anyof the cafe mods). To submit your images and audio clips, please send your e-mails to [EMAIL=“[email protected]”][email protected].
Use this thread to brainstorm ideas. If you want to suggest modifications, feel free to say what’s on your mind. If you have any questions, use this thread and remember, no question is stupid question unless it’s never asked. If you prefer, you can PM any of the cafe moderators to ask your questions.
[note]Since we are using the same e-mail address for this project as well as the one Phatima is working on, in your e-mail, please mention that these submissions are for Shikra’s project. That way she can put those e-mails aside[/note]
Janu Jia, Sunny Boy, and Zobia I can think of you three off the top of my head that have posted their voices/pictures. So I am expecting something from you guys soon :D
Personal pictures will be better, if you could please do that. You pick the best ones that you like (could be 3-4 , I think technicians can set the time limit for each picture, depending on how long your message is). Try to do it as soon as possible but def. before the deadline. Thanks Oh and it’ll be better if you e-mail your submission to that address.

Project Team: I have just e-mailed my pictures and an audio file. Please check your e-mail and let me know if I need to modify my message or need to send more pictures. I’ve submitted 3 pictures and I am guessing you can set each picture to display for 7 seconds as the message is about 21 seconds long. Sorry I didn’t have a video camera, otherwise I would’ve done that.
Email them at [EMAIL="[email protected]"][email protected]. Whoever will compile them (and I don't know who it is) has access to that e-mail address (it's shared by Phatima and a couple of other people). Don't forget to name the files after your name and mention in the e-mail that these pictures are for Shikra's project. Otherwise Phatima may end up using it for her project.

but in my audio msg for example i say mera naam aisha hai mai dubai mai rehti hoon
wouldnt 99% of the people figure out its me there is no way to remain anonymous for me:rotfl:
