While I’m in favor of early marriages, it’s a relative term. For me, girls getting married at 18-22s is early. If they’re mature enough and have the right guy for them then yeah- but pushing to get it done at that age or worrying about it is not my thing, esp. since at that age most of us are still going for our first college degree and haven’t had much exposure to the real world.
I actually don’t know about my first rishta because like most of you, my parents wouldn’t tell me. First official one that I know about (only because it came to me instead of my parents) was through a friend when I was 21, it was a mutual friend’s brother, and I have no idea why I said no- yep, that’s how weird I was!
