Your favourite teabags ...

Name them please and tell us why exactly you prefer them over all the other brands in the market …

Re: Your favourite teabags ...

My favourite in English Tea are Yorkshire Teabags .. I like the fact that its a large teabag and gives a stronger taste in the tea ....

amongst the herbal lot , I like Liptons Camomile tea .. we dont get them here in the UK , so I get my lot from Dubai..

Re: Your favourite teabags ...

Tea India. it tastes strong when I make tea in microwave oven.

Re: Your favourite teabags …

I do not like tea made from teabags. They do not give full body flavor to :chai:

Re: Your favourite teabags ...

For everyday tea I like Tetley because it's a nice blend of black teas and strong. Yorkshire tea is also nice. It's good to alternate because you do kinda stop tasting one after a while.

Otherwise, I really like loose leaf Assam over all the others (and I've tried most black teas). There are lots of tea shops you can buy this from. In London, I go to YumChaa.

You can use a normal amount of Assam and add some Earl grey for yummy tea. Thank me later.

PG tips work for me :biggthumb:

Re: Your favourite teabags ...

I don't like tea but my mum& dad love Twinnings everyday tea

Re: Your favourite teabags ...

Lipton Teabags. Don't know why but i like it's taste

Re: Your favourite teabags …

Thanks so much Stoppit .. Will try this Assam and Earl Grey mix :e6: .. now the important question .. I havnt seen Assam tea around in the usual stores … either I miss seeing them or I dont know where to buy them from .. is it loose tea?

I have one more question .. I like to leave my tea bag in the cup while I have the tea … sometimes I heat it in the microwave for a quick minute, right after brewing and adding milk to the tea … does that burn the teabag? or kill the taste ?

Re: Your favourite teabags ...

Damsel, Lipton tea with Rainbow milk , awesome awesome combination , it was the love of my life when I used to live in Dubai ..

PG Tips!

Re: Your favourite teabags ...

indeed Rainbow milk's taste is actually unmatched. I used to have it in my tea when I was in KSA. but it's now available in Pakistan too.

Re: Your favourite teabags ...

At the moment I'm on decaff, as avoiding caffeine while expecting a baby. So buy yorkshire decaff, which is a pretty good alternative. Otherwise would drink PG extra strong, yorkshire or assam.

Re: Your favourite teabags ...

i am using rainbow milk with lipton teabags.....but i miss my pakistani "everyday tea whitener"....

Re: Your favourite teabags ...

There isn't much variety available in the US. I used Lipton for a long time. And added loose tea to the mix. These days we use RedRose Tea and sometimes throw in one tea bag of Earl Grey for a kick.

But when I'm properly stocked, we add some loose tea.

Re: Your favourite teabags ...

Tetley Orange Pekoe is amazing! Very strong and great taste.

Re: Your favourite teabags ...

^ Cherry , Tetley Orange ? is it flavoured tea?

Re: Your favourite teabags ...

Nope, just regular black tea. The teabags are big and they don't have a string. You just put them in and let the tea brew for a minute and it tastes amazing. It's stronger than loose leaf! I get mine from the desi store in the U.S but it actually comes from Canada.

For herbal, Lipton is best. I love their Ginger and Orange flavor.
