most of us have designers we all love and use for most of our clothes
share ur most fav. designer and post of pic of your fav. outfit from them =)

I LOVE the formal wear from Maria B.

Karma Red is amazing at its stuff, I don’t however like their formal wear at all

The V Lawn by Vaneeza lawn is amazing! its so simple, young & fresh.

Oh and Hajra Hayat is my new favorite… I am gonna get a HH design for my wedding… haha

check out the sleeves on this, so gorgeous!

so simple and elegant, of course I would have to shorten the neckline, lol

I probably would have to add sleeves to that and perhaps make the capri’s sliiiightly longer but other that, the whole outfit is AMAZINGLY sexy!

LOVE the empire waist dresses, in fact I always wear em’ with jeans all the time, so a kameez is no exception, love it! of course I would add sleeves, mom frowns on sleeveless, so she’d HATE tank top straps

Because I dont have a close-up of that… i think what it is is basically drooping of the cloth… if this is the one…I’ll find some drooping necklines for a better view cuz i dont have a closeup of this one…sorry hun

among international designers i like john galliano..hiz designs r so dramatic n larger than life,,n patricia fields who designed for SATC..very punk n fun..in desi designers i would say nomi ansari as his designs r very playful..omer sayeed very elegant n classy n theres this new designer label hoorain from lhr very arab inspired..

oh in international designers…i would have to say Dior By Christian Dior is AMAZING, Betsy Johnson makes (sometimes) very quirky, fun stuff, i love the dresses

another would have to be Chloe by Karl Lagerfeld…its very paris, soft, feminine and whatnot…and i would love to pair something very soft % delicate with something hard and edgy…a loose floaty chloe dress with skinny jeans and stiletto heels and big bright slouchy tote siiiigh :halo:

Maria, what do you think of Aisha Varsey? I will get married eventually, but have to yet find a guy, parents are looking. So I was kinda planning on which designer I will choose for my wedding dress, so far I think Aisha Varsey but seeing Hajra Hayat, it looks nice too. Do you think HH is better than Aisha Varsey?

but from what I know, Hajra hayat is VERY popular right now, so is karma and OF COURSE HSY, tho their prices are expensive, mainly's HSY's, like $6000 while Hajra hayat or karma's is around 2-4K....depends
let me know whats up, tho in my opinion hajra hayat is amazing with her pink & golden pic...look at the picture that I posted up there, THAT is my DREAM dress for my Barat, lol

the following are aisha varsey dresses, couldn’t find the bridal dresses by her, but I think her dresses are gorgeous, and I hear she is very expensive too

I’ve ordered outfits from Aiesha Varsey in the past and they are gorgeous in my opinion…I think she can play with colours really well and her prices are comparable to Karma…

I went to the aisha versey boutique in karachi at the point. she has some pretty stuff but for the price the kaam is not of good quality. like from far it looks so gorgeous but when u turn it over the kaam is not "clean" and its a lot of mirrors versus actual "kaam" like round mirror peices stuck to the clothes. i was almost going to buy my shaadi outfit from her it was a short teal blouse with kaam and then the lengha was red with gold and silver kaam on it and the dupatta was a beige color. im glad i didnt go with it because while it did look beautiful on me the kaam was nothing compared to the kaam on my bridal outfit (quality wise) and her pricing is still high.

my fav designer is nilofer shahid by far! if i could go to lahore for my wedding outfit id choose her. i also like her formal wear. my friend had a lot of her stuff including her bridal outfit designed by her and it came out stunning. also natty sheikhs lengha is beautiful its nilofer shahid as well.

She is based in Karachi and I think she is worth a visit...you can find her outlet on the 2nd floor of Park Towers (AKA the point).

She's not all about mirrors...in the pictures posted above, I can only see mirrors used in a couple of outfits...

I will admit Pakifairy that like your wedding outfit, Nomi Ansari's work and finishing is much cleaner compared to some other designer outfits I've seen in Pakistan...

You'll definitely find karma in Karachi, but the stock they hold at "The Designers" seemed quite limited to me, unless they've restocked. I went to see Karma outfits at their outlet back in May and I didn't see much :(
