What are the defining characteristics that you would want in a House that you call your own. Maybe in the next few years, insha Allah when you are settled enough .. and start planning for a house of your own. What would it look like
Mine would be a small one, with a cute backyard, that has a few OLD trees, where squirrels and birds have made their permanent residence. Generations of them. They will be my friends, along with the rabbits that share the backyard with them. I will put lots of goodies outside to keep them happy. But will spank them if they dare touch my flower plants or spoil anything
My bedroom will have a window that opens over a lake, where I can see the sun rise every morning… and my boat will be parked on the shore :whistling

Off white/ white color scheme, 2 bed, 1.5 bath, 1 Garage
My parents house, I wanna live wid my parents. Insha'Allah. I've already picked my bedroom, though it may change if bhai's future wife wants it, then I will take the one bhai has currently picked out.
Inshallah, my house woud be as follows (Lets assume I am buying it right now before any children are born):
Double Story
3 Bedrooms (Master, 1 for parents, and 1 for guests etc.)
3 Bathrooms (1 with Master, 1 with parents' room, one main bathroom)
1 Office (Where I can keep my computers, printer, scanner, and wireless set up etc.)
Big kitchen, almost like a room - Our current kitchen is not as big
Backyard - with as little grass as possible. I hate mowing the lawn in summer
3-cars drive way where I can park 6 cars front-back
Big living room to accomodate sofas, TV, tables etc.
