I want to know what skincare products you guys are using currently and how they are working for you? What products you have earlier experimented with and what made you switch and select what you are using rite now :D.
Also don’t forget to add your skin-type & condition :).
Skin type: Normal-combo (don't breakout on the cheeks and occasionally will get a spot or two in the t-zone area. Also get dryness)
Cleanser: I rotate between Avene Cleanance soapless gel cleanser to Purity to Biore Cream Cleanser etc.
Toner: Clean & Clear Alcohol Free toner or Bobbi Brown's Hydrating toner. When I just want to calm my skin I spray Avene Thermal Water
Scrub: I use a gentle scrub like the Biore gentle scrub which is VERY gentle and more creamy. And since I use RA, I don't use harsh scrubs, I'll just use a gentle washcloth.
Moisturizer: I go between Oilatum to Almond Oil.
Treatment: Retin-A 0.04% Micro Gel every night. Clean & Clear Persa 10 gel for spot-treatments.
I plan on getting Paula's Choice toner which is "loaded with anti-oxidants" and also plan on picking up CeraVe moisturizer.
I have combination skin with oily skin on my chin. I use Enchanteur Light&Fresh body lotion and Nivea soft for the face. Damn, I feel like such a noob on skincare after reading M’s post
Wow, u seem all sorted but yah i have not heard about most of the stuff u use so i am looking it up online. Lol, i think i m gonna end up as a skincare analyst with this new craze of mine to know more about all the skincare lines n brands.
Hmm i am thinking of getting the clairsonic brush for myself, heard alot of good about it!
Hmm how’s nivea soft?
So soap and water for you? Well ek tarah acha hai…pehle log yehi use karte hai and looked much prettier .
*I finally came up with my skin-care routine a couple years ago. I had been trying and testing an umpteen amount of products and came to the realization that my skin is SUPER low-maintenance. If I use too much on it, it will break out. So I have to use the complete basics to keep it healthy :) So some of you may find my skin-care routine to be quite surprising, haha.
Cleanser: I use Guinot hydro cleanser. I only use it 2-3 times a week, otherwise my skin breaks out.
Toner: Rosewater at times.
Scrub: Origins modern friction
Moisturizer: Guinot hydrate Beaute - long lasting moisturizer and Olay sensitive skin at night.
Treatment: I use my scrub 2 times a week. An origins deep cleanser masks 1 week. I'm planning to start Glycolic acid 30% peel when I have gathered enough information.
Those of you who are saying they tone with green tea, cucumber, or tomato, do you actually do this everyday and especially in the morning? Don't these things leave a residue?
As for me, I read stoppit's suggestions on even tones (before I was posting here) and I dont know about even tone, but it has certainly helped with the smoothness and "clean feel" (so thank you Madame)
Wash: Sapurto or is it sparto, dang I can't recall the name of the cleanser. But I'll re-check (in case anyone is interested)
Tone: Witchhazel
Moisturize: Rosehip Oil
I wash my face with my clarisonic brush morn n night using hope in a jar cleanser. Aveeno sunscreen every morning. And at night same, wash my face and using retinol .1% every alternate night followed by fab moisturizer. My skin breaks out easily so I cannot mess with it too much.
