Oh god i remember using the Braun silk epil when i was younger-horrendous torture tool-have no idea what its like now tho. Ive heard its improved a lot from back then.
I get my legs waxed and have had laser treatment done for a few yrs on my face and underarms. I only need to get it done a few times a yr-im very pleased with the results. Esp on the underarms its like a god send!
So what do you guys use ... ahem... down there...?
I have a hollywood done in central london by this woman who waxes the celebrities. Shes expensive but i dont care cos i know shes the best in London when it comes to this sort of thing-shes famous for it-very bizarre!
^ I'm too shy to get it done by someone else, and waxing yourself is tricky. sigh
schweetz: That's the one I've got. I do the highest setting, cuz it's painful regardless, so at least make it as efficient as possible. I didn't notice a difference in terms of pain.
I think it also depends on what kind of skin you have!
I prefer threadin' for facial hair
rest, I use hair removal cream. I have very sensitive skin to use all those painful methods:P .... but my hair growth is luckily slow...e.g. I do threadin' (facial) once a month and that's the best way for me to keep it simple and organic:D:D
So, basically I don't have major issues with hair, luckily...=)
Yeh, I agree, but Boots do sometimes have some really good 3 for 2 offers.
Also, when you go to Superdrug, check out this hair minimiser lotion that you can buy, it really works! I can't quite remember the name of it, but I used to get it from Superdrug. It's in the same area as the hair removal creams and stuff. It's made with fruit enzymes.
Hi WAM, (sorry shortened ur name). Went to superdrug and checked the hair remover out. Wasnt too happy with it and after much consideration im not buying any of these and am gonna stick with my epilator. I used it today and i love it! Best thing in the world and at your convenience!
How many times do you do this a week, a month?
Have you noticed less hair growth with this product???
Is there something like this available in North America??
I’ve tried this before. It works okay, but I’m fairly certain it does not remove hair from the root (except for very long and/or fine hairs). It’s mainly just exfoliating it off the surface. Sort of like sandpaper. I don’t think it will change hair growth. And yes you can get these products at most beauty stores.
