**"Shamshad Akhter, the brother of Test player of Pakistan cricket team Younis Khan has passed away in Germany, SAMAA reported on late Saturday.

Meanwhile, Younis has cut short West Indies tour, flying off to Pakistan to attend funeral rites of his deceased brother.

Shamshad Akhter died in Germany. His dead body will arrive in Karachi today (Sunday).

Senior batsman Younis Khan will not play first Test match against West Indies. SAMAA"

Don’t mean to sound facetious - but I am curious why Younis Khan keeps losing his brothers. Isn’t this the 3rd brother of his who has met an untimely death ?

Anybody have the goods ?

Must hand it to Younis though - he still wears a smile on his face always.

yeah i think its his third brother and as far as i have read younis lost his brothers in car accidents…they all died at young age…(there was no illness)
