I do not subscribe to the interpretations of the Fundamentalist Ulemas from Saudi Arabia or wherever of yours; make sure you understand that very well; very well!.
According to the interpretations of 'my Islam', no religion is superior; especially not Fundamentalist Sunni Islam; One is judged superior based on how one treats his/her fellow beings - can you understand this?
In the previous thread:ONLY MUSLIMS WILL GO TO PARADISE - PART I & II; you fundamentalists, in your usual delusion, outlawed all other religions, except muslims, called everyone else a kafir and sent them packing to hell.
God! if one is to look at the conditions of these Fundamentalists & Paradise-guaranteed muslims(joke)one would surmise that God must be punishing them and punishing for almost 1400 years to-date and will continue till these Fundamentalists come to their senses that Islam really means 'Peace' and 'Tolerance'.
Finally, I would rather worship an 'idol of love & peace' than the God of these Fundamentalist muslims.
Note now --- my God is not the same as the God of these Fundamentalist muslims - I refuse that God!!

Br. AM I did not ask any long speeches, I simply asked proof from Quran and Hadith that will nullify the claim that I have made ( from Quran , and Hadith) that All Kafirs ( if they die as a kafir) are doomed to Hell..
You said according to My Islam..... Could you explain what is your Islam? Is it based on Quran and Sunnah, or something else?
Think twice. Look person who posted this thread, is no where found. His intention was to indulge Muslims into fights, and I admit that he is successful in that. For Allah's sake, use your brain, study Quran and Hadith. If you do not want to follow anyone, at least read Quran, Hadith and then see where your Islam stands.

The discussions have always centered around the Fundamentalist Interpretations of Islam and I have refuted them as FAULTY, OUTDATED & PRIMITIVE.
For Example:
The Thread on ONLY MUSLIMS WILL GO TO PARADISE - PART I & II dealt with non-believers under Islam, but the interpretations were Fundamentalist & extremists; and, I said so in Part II of the discussion; and, asked couple of questions which still remains unanswered. Could any of you - Abrar, Asif, Saqib, Hasnain, Extreme, etc answer those for me ?
Re: Women - I have found Fundamentalist interpretations unpalatable and have said so openly that women are inferior under interpretations of Fundamentalist Islam.
Re: Non Muslim House of Worship - The Fundamentalist position on this is that Islam has abrogated all other religions and only mosques are the house of worship for God; every other place of worship is kuffar. This is a bloody rascist interpretations and coming right out of dark ages.
Similarly, I have refuted Fundamentalists interpretations on other issues; and, have openly asked for provisions in the Sharia laws to protect minority & women from such abuses.
As a female Muslimah born and raised in a VERY western way, educated in the British education system (including the study of Philosophy)and who VOLUNTARILY accepted and was CONVINCED ONLY by the understanding of this type of Islaam you call 'fundamentalist', I would like to make one point. I feel FAR from inferior...in fact Brothers (and sisters) also upon this understanding have more respect and due regard for women than I could ever have anticipated...I know I live it...
Who cares what our ancestors were before they became Muslim? I certainly don't. The only thing that matters is that I am a Muslim today, and Insha Allah I will be a Muslim for as long as I live. And INdoz, for your information, I was never a hindu, because I never believed in hindu teachings. The only religion I ever believed in was Islam. I have nothing to do with hinduism, and it has nothing to do with me.
I see your concerns. Islam ( so called fundamental Islam) does not teach all you have mentioned. There is no discrimination to Women in Islam, and all other issues. As sister Sakinah answered. Problem is you are looking Islam through eyes of West, who always twisted Islam, so they can mislead humanity, and try to scare them away from Islam. My humble opinion is study yourself, if there are few questions try to get answers from learned people. There is no harm of asking questions, its upto you to accept it or not. If you start blaming Islam without correct knowledge, you see its reaction as you are seenig now.

Brother Asif2..you have raised, what in my opinion, is the most relevant issue...that of looking at ourselves and how to improve who we have become. Yes, we need to look at our history to know ourselves but lets not worry about whether our ancestors were Muslim,or Hindu, or Jewish or from Mars...all we can do (as Muslims) is make duaa for them. We can't change the past.
And as Brother Abrar has written with such wisdom, Maash'Allah, before we start forming opinions we need to look at our sources ensure they are reliable and accept or reject what comes to us.
I believe if you have an open mind, an objective thought process and a soft heart filled with sincerity, the truth will find you...

Re: the Death threats that you refer to - I mentioned a while ago that if 'your Islam' was that noble & true, you would not need all these blasphemy & apostasy laws! They are meant for one purpose and that is to keep the followers muzzled and ignorant. And, an ignorant bunch they are!!
