Re: “You used to be so pretty”
Yeah bbc, I think I should avoid them as much as I can but it’s a pity that I can’t go along well even with my own sisters.
My sister wanted me to look for a rishta for her daughter and when I found one she rejected it by saying “oh meri beti kehti hai she doesn’t wanna be a housewife like you”.
Recently she asked me to look for a rishta again but I made excuses by saying that people demand the girl to wear niqab and the guy is too old etc.
her daughter has a right to decide if she wants to be a housewife or not but she or her mom dont have to put the othrs down for their choice. it doest say much abt their ethics. anyways, u shud also be honest n upfront with them just tell them u cnt help them with rishtas dnt lie.
Money and looks don’t make your life happier. Tell your sisters you are happy in your life and that is all that matters. You have a great husband and great kids, and you wouldn’t want to be in anyone elses shoes. They should respect you and your family. Tell them not to force their own insecurities upon you. If you start camparing yourself with others then you can never be truely happy.
