Some time even miles away from the actual wedding. Only men attend it.
Very rarely women of the family want to go see it too.
Well, the wedding I went to had two girls and their Amma was there too. It was a mehndi function, and men and women had separate halls. The mujra was actually arranged where women were. There were only a handful of men, most of them were close family members. Those girls were gorgeous, and I just didn't like that they were dancing in front of a crowd like that. It wasn't vulgar or anything, but it was strange for me to see.
