There are people I am “friends” with, but I’m not really fond of them. Honestly, I’m only “friends” with them, because they’re the only muslims I know, and there are moments where their kindness shines. But there are moments where they act like bonified *icks, and what is a girl supposed to do except hate?
I have to meet with some of them this week. I’m thinking of not going. Because every time I meet with them, someone or the other says something retarded and it makes my blood boil.
I have no patience for morons.
So, what do I do? Please help? It’s coming to a point where I’d like to tell them to their face “I don’t like you at all - you’re a jerk”.
I have anger surges where I just want to punch one of 'em.
They’re all nice to each other and they give each other high fives. You know - birds of a feather, flock together.
Should I keep meeting with these kids just because of a religious-cultural affinity, or drop them like a bad habit? Unfortunately, I introduced them to some charity work, that they’ve become engaged in, and if I want to continue working in the charity, I have to deal with these folks and just work…knowing that whatever work I do, some retarded kid is going to walk away with all the credit, because he has some official title and I don’t.
I’ve been thinking of going rogue and starting my own projects in the community, and leaving these guys to go self-destruct due to their own internal inefficiencies.
PCG you need to relax a bit I think ... yeah people are pure a-holes and all that but you're gonna meet all sorts of people in life. Right now maybe you can drop them like a bad habit but what if you meet someone like this at work a co-worker or a boss maybe. So take it like a practice for future and if it makes you any happier try to annoy them urself. Give them weird pet names like kittu or pappu or something like that and insist on calling them that in public. trust me that annoys people the most ... its tried and tested :D

Yeah you're right. I dislike most because there are certain value sets I don't agree with. Like being a jerk is not part of Islam but that word characterizes so many brown people :(
Personally speaking, it's a lot more easier to show your male friends their limits than to tame those bimbettes..One stern gaze or an arrogant remark is enough for the guys whereas the most logical and sophisticatedly explained issues get unnoticed by the females!
I have a seriously similar problem with one of my female "friend" (hate to use that word ) and I just cannot dump her anyhow coz she's a family friend as well!

Gander/sex plays a part. So its more pleasant. I am not sure such companion ship can actually be called friendship.
I be surprised if every girl who talks to me consider me a "friend". Because I consider them "a girl who talks to me"
