My boss calls me ethnically ambiguous saying he had no clue what my background was when he met me first. I have claimed thatthis means I can mingle in with locals anywhere, which he was quick to correct me that no would not work in china or sweden. oh well.
I guess many ppl expect pakistanis to look like pakistanis as they see on tv..like aliens in america..which btw is an indian, or other pakistanis in tv and movies..which btw are played by indians anyways. but they probablyhave some stereotypical view of what a Pakistani looks like.
Afshi. maybe u should ask them what made them think that u were not Pakistani.
