like u all know very well now that i have bad dark circles i’ve been asking this question again and again and to alot of ppl but nuthing works really.

so i asked sum1 she told me that use eye creams with sumthing that i dont have a clue about. she said there r sum creams that builds a layer of collagen on the area and makes the dark circles disappear or atleast lighten em up.

now my question IS wat creams has this thingy? :konfused: any clue? any brands?? GINAAAAAA help!!!

cuz my dark circles r so bad that even the viens r visible u can imagine how thin the skin is over there. so i was thinking that making skin thicker might help :hmmm: and the puffiness too as a bonus ughhhhh!

Re: yet another dark circles question.....

My cousin put eye cream/gel under her eyes for dark circles i believe (at the time she was in her early twenties).....and that eye gel caused lines to form under her eyes and made the skin in that area really dry.

So, please consult a dermatologist who can help determine the cause and prescribe treatment that will solve the problem without causing further damage to the delicate skin under your eyes.

Re: yet another dark circles question.....

i have the same problem but nothing works for me....:(

Re: yet another dark circles question.....

Girls^ Go to the dermatologist. I've tired all kinds of remedies and they work but take too long....or they don't work at all. And I've been to a derm....and usually they give you something that's more effective.

Vitamin E oil helps collagen to come to the surface as well KB..and almond oil is known to do the same. Clarins has a collagen-based eye-cream.. but that's not really a solution.

Are u anaemic?

Re: yet another dark circles question.....

ok tokta wise my cousin put like teabags under her eyes i think she put them in water first let the teabags get warm and then wen they had cooled down she put them on her eyes and her dark circles improved a great deal

Re: yet another dark circles question.....

Do NOT spend your money on buying countless creams (like the expensive hylexin) for your dark circles, when dark circles in essence are a physiological mechanism to tell us that something could be wrong with our health (unless they are hereditary)...... like Ginooo mentioned, it could be that you are anaemic, so there may be a lack of vitamins (eg. iron) in your body..... or it could be linked to any allergies you have.... or it could simply be down to nutrition..... in any case you should go to your doc , and at the best, they can recommend you to a dermatologist that can customise a concealer to your skin colour to camouflage them.

And as clichéd as it sounds, sliced cucumber and used teabags do help alleviate tired, puffy dry eyes and can improve the look of dark circles.

Re: yet another dark circles question.....

grate some potatoe n put it in the fridge for a few minutes then put it on ur eyes for half n hour lie down listen to some relaxing music but the thing is u have to have atleast 8 hours of sleep coz lack of sleep causes dark circles at least in my case it does

Products with kinetin in them ar emeant to be awesome products.. but to be honest with you theres so much you can do for under the eyes. At our clinic we us a product call the 'matrix' seal which is a very safe skin lightener for under the eyes and anywhere around the face- the products havent been promoted yet but will be very popular in the next 6 months!

Go to a clinic and ask them if they do a transderm treatment which includes skin lightening- because the transderm treatment is also used for those who would like to brighten up dark circles and improve tired eyes.

Re: yet another dark circles question.....

an kali bili ky circle dark hi hoongy nah

Oh yeah.. put a tea spoon in the freezer- every morning put the back of the spoon on ur whole eyelid for no longer than 5 seconds.. do this for two weeks and see the difference!

( I havent tried it but apparently it's meant to lighten dark circles and reduce the look of tired eyes)

The eye area is very delicate..please don't use any harsh chemical based lightning agents at all..

Re: yet another dark circles question…

wow alot of input:D

Re: yet another dark circles question.....

go to a cosmetic dermatologist, if u live in islamabad dr fazeela abbasi is supposed to be a good cosmetic dermatologist, she was on tv talking about some new treatment to rehydrate the under eye area which lessen the circles (i unfortunately didnt have time to see her when i was in pakistan)
