You chat, skype and text with him every day. So what if in between he starts behaving formally because someone is around him??!!
Dont look for problems when there aren’t any.
Maybe you should place a camera around you, which records you (your behavior) 24/7 for a period of time.
And then afterwards watch the recording…
and learn from it. Please.
