I don't see cooking as equivalent to slavery either. But what I have a problem with, personally, is when a guy expects you to do the smallest things for him. As if he can't take off his shoes himself!
Its one thing when you ask for things pyar se, and once in a while, and that too as flirting. Its another when your husband demands you to do things in a harsh tone.
There's nothing wrong with a girl cooking for her husband, but there is nothing wrong in a husband helping out with some kitchen work either.
