A guy came from Pakistan and was living for us a day or two. All the time he was with me he kept saying "I miss my wife. She does this for me, she does that for me...."
I seriously thought he was in love (after almost 10 years of marrige). I get him to call home, his wife picks up and he says "What are you doing? Where are the kids?"
he talks to his kids and then asks to put mom on the line - She comes back, he tells her off about stupid things (paying bills or somefin) and hangs up.
I am like WTF ... wow you really showed her how much you missed her.

yes u want a slave, like mama. so that you can come home and drop your butt in front of the tv and act like you just got done with carrying the whole world on your shoulders and demand a full-course desi meal. one vegetable, one meat (two meats even better), achaar, raita, rice and naan. napkins must be on the table too. you will say nothing if the food was good but will complain if it doesnt appeal to your paki tastebuds. you dont want a partner( u cant handle it) u want a mom. you can easily find girls like that both in pak and in here. girls who want a daddy. who want daddy-like hubby who is a chalta phirta ATM machine. and trust me they WILL cook and clean and obey all u want.....just dont open your mouth when it comes to debiting your account for that hot black designer kamiz shalwar and a complementing gold choker and its a match made in heaven.

Why do people think that cooking equates to slavery? And if it's not slavery, why do you have to love someone head over heels to be doing this for them?
What if a guy said, "I'll go and earn money only if I love you...."
What kind of garbage would that be?
I don't think there is anything wrong with a man that wants a wife that knows how to cook the food he loves to eat.

i bet 95% of u who think that cooking n cleaning for ur family is equal to slavery have moms who stayed at home doing the exact same thing. there is nothing wrong with doing all that work for ur own family, obviously a guy should help from time to time.
good luck teendabba, but u dont have to go back to pak to find such girls. i know plenty of girls born n raised in western countries who would love to be stay home moms.

I don't see cooking as equivalent to slavery either. But what I have a problem with, personally, is when a guy expects you to do the smallest things for him. As if he can't take off his shoes himself!
Its one thing when you ask for things pyar se, and once in a while, and that too as flirting. Its another when your husband demands you to do things in a harsh tone.
There's nothing wrong with a girl cooking for her husband, but there is nothing wrong in a husband helping out with some kitchen work either.
