i agree with AMY. Allah (swt) says in the Quran that “call on me” and i will answer your prayer…he does NOT say CALL ON MY FRIEND AND I WILL ANSWER YOUR PRAYER!!

i dont understand why these people cant go and ask Allah (swt) directly. i always ask Allah (swt) for whatever i need, and alhamdulillah he gives it.

all you have to do is ask sincerely. if you do that, then you dont need any intercession of any sort.

there is a hadith which says (im sorry i cant remember the exact words but its something like this:
that that which is lawful is white and CLEAR; and that which is unlawful is black and CLEAR. but in between these two, there is a DOUBTFUL grey area, which should be avoided.

so…dont you think that asking for something through a dead person should be avoided? because you may be committing shirk.
if you can ask Allah (swt) directly, then i dont see why ANYONE feels the need to go to a dead person.

lol who is more closer to Allah(swt) us humans who sin all the time or the prophet that he purified? if you or me being sinners asked Allah (swt) to help us indeed he would but if we asked Allah (swt) through his loved ones and through the ones that do not sin like us then surely allah would listen…
either way we are asking Allah, just the method is different . we do not ask the prophets for anything but through them we ask Allah…IT IS NOT SHIRK…get your facts rite

Yes, Muhammad e Mustafa :saw: is not dead if for a minute we suppose that he is not alive then I don’t find a good reason to calling his name in Azan & Aqamat. In Azan & Aqamat every single Muslim of this world call Prophet :saw: name.

Bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God.

If he is not alive then why Muslim bear witness that Muhammad :saw: IS the Messenger of God
NOT
Muhammad WAS the Messenger of God.

If anyone of you think that he is not alive then first change the Azan and bear witness that he was the Messenger of Allah otherwise accept it HE (:saw:) is alive

Is claiming that Jinnah is the prophet of Pakistan part of your religious identiy? NO! Does denying him the respect he deserves make you a non-pakistani NO!
Equating this example with the wording of the Kalema and how it still says that "Muhammad(SAW) IS the prophet of GOD" is ludicrous!
when you read the Kalema and then proceed to say that the Muhammad was a prophet then shouldn't you change the wording of the kalema to suit your belief's?

The point for giving that example was to tell you, that when I say Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) IS the Prophet of Allah, it means that he is the current Prophet and has nothing to do with him being alive or not. I'm just repeating his status when I say that. Like if we were born in let's say 200 BC, When Isa (Peace be upon him) did not come, our Prophet would have been Musa (Peace be upon him) and we would have said La ilaha illa Allah Musa Rasul Allah regardless of whether he was alive at that time or not. There are few how don send durrod on MUHAMMAD:saw2:…they even don attend milads,and if they attend for the sake of some relative they don even stand wen salam is been offered..
