I realised tht most men don’t cry…or show tht they don’t cry…js wanted to know…why? 
i mean…is it coz of thier so called “male ego” or because Allah has given them more strenght thn he gave women? or they r simply not NORMAL human beings???

Well, they do cry, not all but some. Majority are raised in a way that they learn to control their soft-side and not cry. I have seen some guys cry with tears. Tears are just an expression of deep sadness or pain (or even joy at times) inside and it’s perfectly normal and healthy to express yourself.
I had mentioned a hadith in one of the threads here earlier where Prophet Muhammad :saw: said, he loves Yemni men, for their hearts are so brittle, they can weep easily. He :saw: also said, that he loves women and children, since their hearts are so pure and soft that they express themselves without being ashamed to cry.
So nothing wrong in it. It’s just that men are supposed to act so strong physically as well as emotionally, that they learn not to express that side. I know a female friend who is hardly 19 but she’s so tough, nothing brings tears to her, yet she’s a kind heart, animal and children lover. But she said, her dad taught her since she was a child that he hates women who cry so he doens’t want to see her cry. Training!

I have seen a Lot of men Crying, and tell you what,It's BAD. I can easily ignore a crying woman but find it difficult to handle a crying man.
Thankgoodness they don't cry that often.

dude i remember 2 years ago, leafs lost the semi's and i had to wipe the tears off my face. that hurt. :(
you just sit there and no one is talking and your team has to go shake hands with the winners. its like heartbreaking.

If a man cries in front of a girl - that girl should know one thing for sure he will stick around for good.
Men only cry in front of those that they truly love or adore.
I use to think men have NO heart they can’t feel anything but when you see some really nice and sweet guys you realize they have a very soft side to them. As many mentioned men are weaker then women emotionally. Its a lot easier for us to get over someone but for them it can take a good decade.
As Mywish mentioned its difficult to handle them while they are crying. They cry like a little baby and there is so much purity in them at that very moment.

I think its really gay when a guy cries for any other reason than he got kicked in the nuts or his parent/wife/child/sibling died..

They do, sometimes … when they feel really sad or broken, which is pretty rare. It would be nice if some men were actually more able to express their emotions in words and actions. It is only certain emotions though which seem to be difficult to express. Anger and being upset is not much of a problem for a lot of people to express. Yet, showing love and kindness seems to be tough for a lot of people (both men and women). Probably cause it makes people feel vulnerable?

Why is it gay? Don’t guys have a right to express their emotions? They might seem strong from outside but inside they are weaker then women. They cannot move a single inch without a love and care of women. And any guy who has loving and caring woman hand behind his back will be the luckiest and successfull one around.
I agree with Nia Khan. Men do cry infront of women whom they can trust their soul with. And honestly its excruciating to see a man cry infront of you. It sure tend to make woman stronger though thumbsup

I cry during the darkness of the night when no one is listening. Sometimes, I feel so suffocated that I just want to crawl out of my skin and run away. If you placed your ear against my door, you could hear the soft stifled sobs. That’s me-- crying. Crying for myself, crying for a girl who broke my heart, crying for humanity, crying for that dog that just had its leg run over by a car…

Seriously? short version: 8 years old. feeble-hearted, adorable and impressionable kid. Mama’s boy. fell down. bruised knee. blood. both mama and I fainted. was bawlin’ my eyes out. Papa pulled me up. gnashed his teeth. said in thick accent, “suck it up, son. men don’t cry, crying is for women and faggots.”
Since then, not once, not even by mistake.
