Re: Xenabs Atelier on FB - Reviews
I have seen the pictures too and i must say that they were not very impressive.
Xenaba ... would be very interested in listening to your side.

Re: Xenabs Atelier on FB - Reviews
It doesn't even make any sense how you can have a bad first time experience and then go on and order 20 OUTFITS?
More money than brains!
I quite agree....I would NEVER give any designer a second chance. Why on earth would you do that???...
Re: Xenabs Atelier on FB - Reviews
to be honest, i'm getting a bit sick of the fifty million posts you've flooded this forum with. U apparently (taking your word for it) had a rubbish experience with Xenab the first time round, U then hand over another sum of money and then to top it off u hand over more money! sheeeesh. U gave her money oon three seperate occasions!
U have had a bad experince, deal with it!
I think we are a great community here on GS, I feel we are fair and give everyone a chance but to be honest i am starting to feel really uncomfortable with the bashing, I personally havent ordered anything from Xenabr BUT judging from the stuff on her website, her clothes look good and the shoots and models all look professional. Compared to alot of so called FB designers who have nothing but magazine photos or fashion show pictures, her work looks pretty good. Again, i know there are going to be people who say "how do u know any of it is her real work" but heyyyyyyyy we can say that about most FB pages.
I have to admit, prior to all this hungaama i was planning on ordering from her and had been in contact with her, i found her to be courteous and professional within her emails. But unfortunately with all this Draaama i have had to rethink BUT i might take the risk and judge her for myself. I might be a fool and live to regret it but at least i will know for myself. I've been on GS for a number of years and I feel that i give most people a fair hearing but I think its a real shame that the words of one disgruntled person can effectively tarnish the name of vendors on here. So i think we all need to take a deep breath, step away from our machines and move on.
oooo and before u accuse me of being Xenab in disguise, her maamee, chaachee, sister or grandmother,
I AINT
Re: Xenabs Atelier on FB - Reviews
Well said brummie...well said!!!!.Couldn't have put it better myself.
In fact...I am soooo tempted to order from her anyways, but Mr CO will murder me if I spend another £,so I will have to wait.
And no,I am not Xenab's mamee or chachee either!!!
Re: Xenabs Atelier on FB - Reviews
well said brummie bird :-)
Re: Xenabs Atelier on FB - Reviews
And this is why GS forums is a great place to be to sell, because we do not have close minded people on this forum.
I have asked a few clients to join GS and give their own honest reviews WITH the pictures as well so that you can have both sorts of reviews, Amina’s as well as the others.
Amina, i feel that you have said what you have had to say and I would not stop you since you have the right to speak for yourself as well. But atleast tell the whole story and do not inflate the prices, since you never bought anything above Rs.15,000 from me. Secondly you were always after my life for discounts that made me suffer losses on so many of your dresses(not to mention the Rs.11,000 dress I made in Rs.4000 for you as a gift on Eid). Here are photos of the dresses that I did make for you as well. Atleast when telling all this, you should have included how much I had to cooperate with your prices, attitude and behavior until I closed your account (which was in fact the time you started doing all this in the first place)
I had sent her every dress’s photo during it’s progress till stitching. The finished dress is as follows:
amina would ask me to add items like and extras like sequins all over the shirt or the dupatta for free. I kept doing it until this dress. She still claims I owe her sequins for this one’s dupatta (it was for someone’s engagement)

This dress was amina’s dress for Bakra Eid(which she claims is of bad quality. I have attached progress photos as well for all of you to see.

this is the dress i made in Rs.4000 as a gift to her for the first Eid. Sorry Amina if i put your personal photo, but you’ve put my personal photo on your facebook profile as well. If you wanted to make a point, you would have put the real item photo instead of my own

These are all from Amina’s own orders.
now lets get to the dresses you posted on facebook:
Lets start with my favorite one

this is not even made by me :S And the quality of my embroidery has always been good. I can’t believe you were trying to rope in one of my oldest clients on this dress:

Here is what Amina’s testimonial is:
"I was very disappointed with the dress. It was not at all what I ordered. There are many things wrong with it. First of all I asked for churidaar pajama and it came with pants. There is no spray on the dupatta. On my order form Xenab’s Atelier had confirmed that there would be a matching hijab, but there was none. There are no flairs as stated on the order form. There is a lot of embroidery but it is not very nice. I needed this outfit to wear to a wedding and I definitely cannot use it for that. It is not worth $245! I am very frustrated with the quality of Xenab’s Atelier clothes.
I feel like I have been ripped off."
First of all, The dress was for Rs.15,000. I quoted $245 but amina kept insisting i get the price to 15000 and then add stuff like scarves (which as i mentioned earlier, i did not send as I had already told her scarves were always for Rs.2500 extra) and spray on the dupatta for free, when every one of my clients has to pay Rs.1000 extra to have that done. I did not make churidaar pajamas back then because I did not have any experience and she knew that. This outfit was for a client of hers, and not for her to wear on a wedding. If I did not mention earlier, she is a canadian retailer, and the reason she came after me was because I cancelled her client and refused to take her orders.
Right now, I feel like I’ve been ripped off.
Third:

This is one of the heaviest pieces on delicate chiffon I had and I warned her that it would tear and the crystals would not stick, because I have had that experience myself with the sample itself. I asked her to ask her client to have it done in raw silk, but she insisted. This one I agree is my mistake fully, because I should have not gone forward with the order. Before starting the order I also described the flare and dimensions of this shirt, it being of a cut that has never been made before (upside down kali), which means the sides are super long. She knew that, and still ordered it at 48 inches.
I have been rude to her at one time and that is something I will not hide. She had driven me crazy over two months and gone to the point of calling my sister in law with her stories. My sister in law, unfortunately for her, was one of my earlier models as well, and she knew herself it wasn’t true. Amina is still running a business as a retailer herself in Canada and has very conveniently missed out that very essential point. For the past few months she has been sending me mails asking for four more suits, a dupatta, a scarf and a spray of sequins, on which i did not reply to her. Her sister also came to Karachi, and she was very polite, but apparently she was fed the same story as well. I was backed into a corner literally, so I told her to call me later regarding the suits. She now wants me to pay her Rs.47,000. I thought earlier that maybe because of that suit that did get ruined, I should pay her, but after seeing all this, I don’t think I’ll be doing that anymore, since she was never honest about what really happened.
As for Raja Farhan (yes, not Farahan Raja), He has never interfered with my work except one time where she went out of her way being rude to me and degrading me by letting me know how much more experience in designing she had than me as well as other things, again the way women here talk to cloth sellers in the market. In case everyone was wondering, no he did not threaten her. Though I wouldn’t leave out the threat Aminah gave me a couple of days ago saying that this was just the beginning of what she will do to me.
As for the quality of my stitching and embroidery on a whole, interested customers are always welcome to inquire for them, as they should see what I can provide them without having to order blindly. This is my last post to Amina. Hopefully this will put matters to rest.
Re: Xenabs Atelier on FB - Reviews
Xenaba- not sure why you send me a private notification of your side of the story. I personally am confused about what would be the right way to deal with this issue if I got stuck with something like this. I think as a customer service professional your job is to provide a good experience for your customers rather than put up personal pictures and other personal emails from them. If she was wrong to put up everything here, you did the same thing and two wrongs never make it right. I think you need to resolve this issue with her rather than spending time here posting all the information about your client.

Xenab whatever happened between yourself and Bliss, it was in poor taste on your part to put up a client's personal information (the lady with the name beginning with N noted on the order form). You have her name, address and telephone number posted - that is not only unprofessional but a violation of that lady's privacy. I suggest you take the information down right away.
That alone would make me hesitate and not want to do business with you.
Re: Xenabs Atelier on FB - Reviews
I agree that someone's personal details shouldn't have been put up on this forum but I also don't think its right that only one persons side of the story is repeated again and again, seriously we can't have it both ways. To constantly call someone a big fraud is also not on. Here in the UK u could possibly be sued for defamation of character and I'm sure this may also be the case in the US, both sides have been heard now, xenab has responded with pictures and to your allegations bliss, u aren't denying what she is saying, she has owned upto her mistakes but this is now turning ugly!
I still feel there is more to this and by setting up multiple Facebook accounts to destroy somebody's business is horrible! U should have ideally sorted this out privately and not in this ugly manner, in all the years I gave been on this forum, I don't think I've seen anything so bad! U should both move on.

Brummie, the personal information was not Xenab's clients, but Bliss' client who is a third party unnecessarily being dragged into this muck.
Absolutely I agree that each side has the right to defend themselves online - but why drag a third party into this?
Re: Xenabs Atelier on FB - Reviews
Serysh, hun I absolutely agree with u :)
Re: Xenabs Atelier on FB - Reviews
ONE SHOULD have never done this , Xenab's Atelier is so unprofessional.
I would like her to remove N ladies information right away!!!!
Um, you didn't help matters by quoting Xenab's email. The client's information is in your post as well.
Re: Xenabs Atelier on FB - Reviews
Look at your post (post #68). When you quoted Xenab, you posted your own client’s information. Xenab cannot remove information from your post - only you can. I suggest deleting the picture in your own post ![]()

I just realised this without looking at the form, thank you for pointing it out I have removed the photo now
Re: Xenabs Atelier on FB - Reviews
^ On behalf of clients who guard their personal information on online forums, thank you. That was the decent thing to do :)

The only one looking unprofessional is u! She said she didn't make the black suit. The photos she has posted of the suits she produced look nice and the black wala looks nothing like her work. Please stop this now, this is getting really boring.
Mods where are u guys?
Re: Xenabs Atelier on FB - Reviews
hey brummiebird,if same fraud happened to u wat will u do?

I know what your saying Rukhs and being defrauded whether you are a buyer or a seller isnt good, i'm honestly not trying to take sides as i dont know either party BUT i woulnt go round opening different FB groups left right and centre, flooding forums with the same post either, but thats just me. Different people handle things differently right.
As i said before, I've been a member here for ages and I just dont want this forum to be seen and known as a place where people get trashed, this is a great website and i love being part of the GS community (whoop whoop whoop) and i suppose i dont like fights :(
Re: Xenabs Atelier on FB - Reviews
Sorry Brummiebird, Im right here.. just checked this thread a little late than I should have.
OK bliss001 I think you've made your point and this really needs to stop. You calling xenab unprofessional once makes the point, you dont have to really post 100's of comments to speak your mind! I do understand that you have issues with her but stooping down to this level where you are accusing her of things tht she hasnt done just to get your money back doesnt make you any less unprofessional!!
You are welcome to PM xenab and solve your issues through that portal. I will be issuing warnings after this now...
