The worst bit is getting lesss holidays than ever before :( I only get 25 days holiday per year, and I'm not allowed to take more than two weeks holiday at a time, except for my honeymoon....

my point is wouldnt a degree be better then A Levels?.....as u get to cioncentrate on one subject which more or less will be reltaed to ur career in future....
what degree did u do?...and what did u get?...and in A Levels?

Well, your degree is not necessarily related to your career. Mine isn't :D
You may think that it's better doing a degree, cos it's one subject, but then you realise 2 problems.
1) What may look like one subject may turn out to consist of 3 very different subjects. For example, you may think of a chemistry as being one subject, but it's split down into Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Medicinal Chemistry. All 3 are very different and only on occasion can you apply what you learn in one to the other.
2) You learn topics in so much detail that you will miss the days of A-levels when you studied lots of topics, but at a very shallow level (you may not think this right not, but come back to this point in 3 years and let me know what you think).
I did a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry And Management.
I got a 2:1 alhumdulillah (Upper Second Class degree, meaning a B grade average)
In A-levels, I did Maths, Chemistry and French as full A-levels. I also did Business Studies and General studies as A/S levels.
I got straight As for them all, by the grace of Allah SWT.
