I think everyone is capable of loving again. It seems like it would be impossible to love another when you are with the person but when they are not there (ie break up, divorce, death etc) you learn to move on.
With that said...every situation is different and everyone has different needs. Personally I cant say if i would remarry or not because i dont know what situation I would be in if Allah forbid that happened to me.

Impulse you shouldn't be posting such questions..it hurts.
Situations vary for everyone, you never know what comes across in life. Sometimes its love that is prioriry and at times its your family. I've come across ppl who got remarried once their spouse passed away, but the decision was not always for their own self, but for the children, family etc. What do you expect from a man whose got small kids and his wife passes away? What should be his priority love or children?

In Islam it's better that you marry again. If I was in love with my husband or fiance so badly and then this happens I don't think I'll ever be in a position to remarry. If my shadi was just a typical arranged one where my parents told me to marry some guy then may be I would. Overall, I think shadi aik hi baar kafi hoti hai. I'd feel gross with another man and also insecure.

If i have an arranged marriage, Maybe i will..maybe i wont. Depends on the situation.
But if its the person I love..the one I care about more than anyone else..the one I have been wishing to spend my life with..the one about whom I've dreamt about all nights..with whom i share alot of myself, No i wont ever remarry. Ill stay a widow all my life.

I dont think that this can be truly answered until the situation is actually faced. But for me personally, I dont think I could ever remarry. I am lucky enough that I have my prince charming and never could I ever have love like this again. I sincerely hope though, that if I go first my dear husband would remarry and maybe even have more kids.

thats what i would want my husband to do as well especially if i have kids. I would want him to find a woman that would treat them like her own. every child needs a mother and vice versa.
