I would say yes. Why not? If he is able to provide for you and he’s a good person, why does his education matter. Plus im currently in University and a lot of people have returned to school because they are unable to find employment with their degree and education. So having an education doesn’t mean your “stable” I know in Pakistan it’s important to be educated to get a job, but here you have more options then just going into post secondary education. I don’t think it’s fair to judge someone’s family character if they are not as educated as you’d like them to be.

Plus, would you rather marry a Doctor who is a complete ass and beats you everyday after dinner, or a decent guy who provides enough and treats you well, though that is another disscussion.

I have to agree with you completely. I have been in school for longg time just to be what i wanted to be. And been through hell to gain what i wanted to gain. This piece of paper what we call a bach. degree nowadays doesn’t count for anything anymore except for 35k to 45k jobs maximum. Masters? even people with masters are struggling to find jobs..especially freshly graduates. And at the end of the day what matter is..whether a person is decent and is financially stable. I do know that girls look for emotional and financial security. Which obviously is fair, however, like above poster said that even he is engineer, doctor or some CEO… he could still lack manners and behavior toward his wife or anybody around him. That is why i always stressed that go for someone with good character. And somebody who really cares about his family and work hard to earn decent and halal money. It goes longer!. Having said that..i am just glad to have 3 days off!.
