I married a man from Pakistan and I couldn't be happier, Alhamdulillah. :) We will actually be living in Saudi Arabia for at least the next couple years. His job is there and I know he really wants to stay, so I decided to try it out and see how I like it. We both realize that if/when we decide to come to the US, it will be very hard starting off and I will most likely be the main provider at least for a little bit. He's not in love with that idea, but he understands it and I really don't mind. I know that he's a good person and will keep me happy. What more could i ask for? His job/salary were never a factor for me (he's not a nurse or an engineer lol).
