very good point.
Islamically, a marriage is NOT even valid between a sane and an insane [majnoon] individuals. the reason being, as mentioned by Samra, the marriage is a ‘contract’ and you can not sign on the dotted line if you don’t understand what you are getting into and what your obligations are.
i think even the law of the land wouldn’t allow this type of union.
