Would it make you jealous if your partner talked about the happy moments with their ex?
Would you ask them to stop talking about them cuz it pisses you off or would you be a good friend and listen to every word they say, even though it hurts cuz you think they might still be in love with them?

It's totally unecessary, who wants to know about their partners ex, and why would he/she tell their current partner ... soo sillyyyy, and yeah you should say "i really dont want to know."

Nah, i wuldnt be interested in knowing bout his ex and his past. If he wanted to clear things and tell me stuff related in early stages of relationship i would call dat honesty, but anything sed after early stages would be thought of his way of making me jealous or dat he may be in denial and still in love wid his ex.

The problem is that maybe they were with their now-ex for several years. That means that, obviously, in telling "stories" about their past experiences their ex is going to be involved in some of these stories. I think there's a difference in talking about your ex in a way that shows you still love them and in a casual manner. If you can talk about them casually it shows you really are over them and shows your now-partner that you have nothing to hide.

If a spouse talks about ex to tell about the past then yeah fine, but if he/she brings ex in every other topic then it really means he/she is not over with her/him. Just talk about ex 1 time and get it over with, if not then it means he/she is still in your system and it will ruin your new life.

Theres bigger problems here then them talking to their ex. Obviously u think hes still in love with her, then why r u with him?
If my fiance talked about his ex so much that it made me thikn he was still in love with her, i would step back and see if i really want to be with this guy at this point in time.

yes definitely i would listen to her talk about her ex. and when i downgrade her to an ex, i'd expect her to talk about her last ex to her new potential-ex.
