this is pretty much a non-issue in countries other than the U.S. - for example in Canada, gun ownership is not regarded as a right, Very few people are even issued permits to carry handguns for reasons of self-protection, and it’s only possible if an applicant can prove that his/her life is in danger and the police cannot offer them the requisite level of protection.

Having said that, if I were in the U.S., I wouldn’t keep a gun at home for all the reasons mentioned in this thread.

Then u get it.
thats how it is in Canada
