That is true but for some people they make association between person and organ. some people like Jehovah’s witnesses they are not even allowed to accept blood transfusion. Organ has no race, nationality and religion but still maybe some people may not want to get organ from certain people. That’s their choice as well. Maybe in the beginning they don’t want to get it from that person but then later they change their mind when situation is life/death
Matlab yes agar Indian ho aap ko farak nahi padega would you think you have new bond with this person whose blood/kidney you’ve taken or would you not want to know person if of course person is alive?
no, not really…it doesn’t work that way…in most western countries, you can NOT pick the recipient. once you sign on the dotted line, you basically give your right away…your organ can go to anyone in need.
Ok but if you are willing to donate you must know that you cannot decide who it will go to so obviously it can go to someone who is not willing to donate to stranger.
If person is alive and they are donating kidney or something then they can make that choice.
It might not be fair but when someone gives gift of donating organ or blood they don’t always think that person should also donate to me or someone else. People do it from the goodness of their heart.
Maybe that person like the guy in this article wants to break barriers, boundaries and change views. Maybe they would want to donate to someone who doesn’t have to donate back to them. I mean maybe like the guy in the article perhaps an Indian may want to consciously donate to a Pakistani because by that one action they can change lot of views.
Maybe also vice versa. It’s literally impossible to hate someone who has given you or your family gift of life or given part of themselves to help you. Especially if they are not relative, or of same race, nationality or religion. Just like the somali family in the story.
the followers of Jehovah’s witness are against blood transfusion…period! it’s not about who the donor is…i’m sure if the transfusion was allowed in their religion, they wouldn’t discriminate against race, skin color, nationality etc.
Unless you donate your kidney uske liye u dont have to be dead if someone wanted to they could consciously donate their kidney to someone. Do you think if someone donates an organ to another and both are alive they have this lifelong bond?
some do and some don’t…there was a case in the US where a child died because the parents refused blood transfusion…the parents were charged with murder but later acquitted on the grounds of religious beliefs.
