Miss Rhea yes Islam means peace butt ISlamot only about peace Islam tells to live with dignity and so if someone attacks muslims or our faith its the order of Islam to finish him off and if dont do this than it is a major sin which we commits thats why HAZRAT MUHAMMAD SAW even though he is know as mercy for manking fought 27 wars and in wars you go and kill your enemy not give them flowers and that what HAZRAT MUHAMMAD SAW ordered muslims to do Islam teaches every thing is someone wants peace alright we will give him peace butt if some one wants war we will INSHALLAH make him a part of HISTORY

Yes, IF and only IF Muslims are under physical attack are they allowed to fight back. There are countless examples in ahadith that show how our Prophet SAW lived His everyday life as an example to Muslims and non-Muslims. We have the right to protect ourselves and our religion. He was insulted openly yet I cannot recall a single instance in which He fought back using violence when He could have used peace.

Lets not twist that into something its not. Islam does not advocate violence.

We do NOT have the right to kill Allah swt’s creation just because he/she is kaafir and do not like Muslims. For example, if someone says “Islam is a barbaric religion”…do they die now according to our faith? No. You use the aqal that has been gifted to you. You show people that Islam is indeed a wonderful faith through your actions and words.

When you reach for violence, you may think you’re doing the right thing but you’ve actually taken away more opportunities for Muslims all over the world to do good.
