O baba, in 90’s , Pakistanis were bringing in their sisters to USA on spouse visa. When our people can do that, then how difficult would it be to deny being a Muslim, just to enter USA?
Re: Would you deny being a Muslim?
Lol!

Khuda nakhwasta??? **Shouldn’t it be flying-spaghetti-monster nakhwasta? **
As to your question…of course an overwhelming majority will be denying their muslimness just to get to the USA and will use plethora of excuses to justify the halalness of their actions. This one might be filed under *mukrooh but not mumnooh *category of sins.
Same thing, bruh!

ill never deny being a muslim.if they dont let me enter..ill tell my family to pack up and leave the country to join me till sanity prevails
Re: Would you deny being a Muslim?
No, but I’ve gotten to a point in my life that since religious communities don’t accept people like me (nonhijabis, non abaya wearing girls who actually can hold a conversation, go to work, and can lift more than 10 lbs, and throw a punch or two, unmarried, no kids), then I really don’t care to be of any assistance to anyone.
Oh, people are making fun of you and ripping your hijab off? Ok, well. I’m sorry. Bye.

Re: Would you deny being a Muslim?
Paheli00:
This is not technically true. The Constitution directly protects U.S. citizens and a U.S. citizen cannot be barred from entering the U.S. so Trump can’t do anything about that group.
When it comes to immigrants, on the other hand, this is a totally different story. The President has express authority to prevent a group of “aliens” from entering the U.S. if he thinks that group is a threat to the U.S. The KEY to Trump’s proposal is that he is not proposing a permanent ban. His ban is temporary. We have done this previously with other groups in the U.S. and U.S. Supreme Court has upheld those decisions. Justice Scalia said a few weeks ago something to the effect of that during times of war, anything could happen (I’m paraphrasing of course).
The fact remains that the President has express authority to ban a group of immigrants from entering the U.S. if he believes that group is a threat to the U.S. President does not need permission from Congress to do this. IF a ban is imposed, there is no guarantee that the U.S. Supreme Court will strike it down…especially if there are security issues (heck all we need is 1 or 2 more CA-like incidents where the killers are Muslims). There is nothing in U.S. history that can be compared to this as far as the Court is concerned.
Of course, other reasons (economic, political etc.) would play into this but I’m just saying legally, it’s not as easy to say that Trump’s idea is unconstitutional.
I agree … my statement can’t be technically true in real terms … but because we were asked by the OP to entertain a particular scenario - that made my statement technically true - albeit completely fictional.
