EXPLAINATION: if my daughters can't date why should it be any different for my sons? i'd rather have my kids infront of my nazrien 24/7. yes i am going to be one of those protective mothers. same reason as i've already said in the other thread about " daughters dating".

Not formal dating. They, of course, can be friends with girls, bring them home for dinner, go out with them, etc. As long as its a mixed crowd - not the boy with 3 girls on his arm. :nono:
So, if he falls for one of the girls, which will inevitably happen, then he can proceed about it in a proper way - marriage proposals and all. I dont want him to be the type of guy who upsets/destroys the lives of other women.

Yes I think its an important part of becoming a mature adult. My boys will be taught to respect women and what types of women to stay away from. I have no girls so I dont know if I'd hold double standards...I'd like to think not. But dating teaches important lessons about relations between the sexes, lessons which need to be learned. Separation of the sexes until marriage just creates confusion - I mean how can you relate to the opposite sex if you have no experience with relating to them? And I'mnot talking about mother, sister etc...I'm talking about relating to females as peers....if you dont have opposite sex as peers then you'llnever be able to treat them as such and are so much less likely to treat a life partner as a peer/partner.
This is bit off-topic and a cultural thing that I'm sure I'll get blasted for....but what-the-heck here goes. In MOST relationships, its the man who leads ie., in romance and sex. I think its important for a man to bring experience to the marriage bed. Esp if the bride is a virgin. I've seen many times here that the unmarried gals want a virgin hubby...I dont get that....why wouldnt an expert or at least an experienced novice be preferable? No offense intended here.

What type of discussion do you sinners engage in? Does it occur to you that maybe instead of teaching your kids to date and have sex with someone elses daughter, maybe a little maybe teach your kids goodness and peace, love and prosperity and giving. I dont want to get married. I want to give to humaity. But when I do and have kids I would teach them to be kind and loving. I am sure they will figure out on their own how date or sex whenever the time comes.
I mean to all the non-virgins that are so experienced in sex (i guess), did your parents chaperone you around on your first conjugal date? Unbelievable filth. FILTHY people. Join a peaceful organization.

OK, I fail to understand why teaching goodness, peace, love, prosperity etc etc etc is exclusive of dating...why not do BOTH????? and why you feel that allowing dating is "teaching your kids to have sex"????? Dating does NOT mean sex. It means going out for a dinner, lunch, coffee, show etc etc with a member of the opposite sex for the purpose of getting to know them. Sex may or may not occur based upon emotional feelings, mutual respect or (sometimes) just plain horniness. But allowing your offspring to go out on a date is NOT teaching them to have sex! sheesh.
