…to get to know your “internet self”? To see what you’ve posted here on GS? Or would they run off faster than a speeding bullet once they had a look at your posts? If you’d hide it from them, how do you justify your hypocracy and dishonesty?
Re: Would you allow your significant other
you tell us mama, theres not many married couples posting here... so after you :)
Re: Would you allow your significant other
LOL, "hypocracy and dishonesty"........... Mamaof3, why do you sound so bitter?
Hehe, I dont have a SO so have no idea how they would feel but basically, I am pretty much like what I am in real life.
Re: Would you allow your significant other
yaar shes married to Verizon - wouldnt u b bitter? ^
Re: Would you allow your significant other
My hubby knows everything I do, I have nothing to hide from him, my posts here are no secret to him and vice versa. I'm the same person in real life as here on GS
Even the singles here, would you hide their posts from a prospect? Or a fiancee? Or parents and siblings?
Re: Would you allow your significant other
nope.
Re: Would you allow your significant other
joking of course mama
Re: Would you allow your significant other
....the bitterness you detect is directed at certain posters who should really be ashamed of themselves for their nastiness, ignorance, intolerance and ...did I say ignorance? I have a strong feeling that someone of this sort would indeed attempt to hide their ignorance from a mate or prospective mate ... or remain single for a lifetime.
Re: Would you allow your significant other
well another view point would be .. GS is 'ME' time.. its where I can be cheeky, naughty.. funny.. nasty.. but whatever I say and do.. is between my pc, and u lot..
I think if my husband and I needed GS to entertain us both.. I'd think it were about time.. we got out more!! :)
Re: Would you allow your significant other
^yeah…
Like I have an excuse. I’m a student stuck behind her PC for most of the day anyway. With no human interaction usually anyway these days, aside from the action I get from work and class and random activities.
I dont know if I’d like to be using GS as marital entertainment though. Hm. Yep, no, I’d be having sex. :k:

I have requested my siblings and parents so much to check out this forum but they are too busy or are not interested. “prospect” / “fiance” who cares ![]()

is it directed at me cz I plan to remain single for a life time?
Re: Would you allow your significant other
...hmmmmm...wonder where the 3 boys came from :)
...once you do have 3 of them, the computer is the "me time"...while the sig other runs after the littles.
newwannabe, you have never been nasty....no, not directed at you at all and if you wish to remain single, bless ya!
anyway, back to the topic.....
Re: Would you allow your significant other
mamaof3, you should go to a spa for "me" time or find some girlfriends. Maybe Verizon uncle will enjoy that as well.
Re: Would you allow your significant other
shukran jazeelan :) and if i ever decided to have a SO, id ask him to come and check out my posts and see if his attitude changes.
Re: Would you allow your significant other
but then some of us have an internet persona to write home abt u know..n btw how do u hide yr “ignorance from others” id like to kno…![]()
Re: Would you allow your significant other
lets see....a sweet and very quiet little wifey with little to say ... until she goes off on the internet and spits out nasty, ignorant and judgemental garbage .... I wonder what the hubby or prospective mate would have to say about it ... unless of course it was kept from him
...............anyway, what say you Ms Ghulail? Can your SO read your posts, or (if not yet married) would you let a prospective mate read them?
Re: Would you allow your significant other
My wife is not GS member herself, but she knows about GS and reads stuff here from time to time.
And even if she wouldn't read through the boards here: Why should my online personality be different to my real one?
Re: Would you allow your significant other
it usually is umer, particularly if you're subdued by nature.
i think im much friendlier online than offline.
Re: Would you allow your significant other
My husband reads here and occasionally will have me add something when I write. He is not a computer person and he still hasn't gotten the concept of e-mail down pat. Most of my time is behind a computer, in fact 8-10 hrs a day is about normal. The periods I spend here are like my break from all the numbers I deal with.
He knows what I write and occasionally clears things up for me about cultural things (such as the tea trolley, that was something).

‘I wonder what the hubby or prospective mate would have to say about it .’
i used to think only unmarried girls cud be protected…u know the “children r a relfection of thier parents type”…this is a new one i am hearing—“r u a reflection of yr spouse”…![]()
