Nope. Apart from the glamour, the entertainment industry also has a very dark/sinister side to it and there’s a tremendous amount of pressure and compromising that comes with trying to “fit in” and become famous and then to maintain that fame.

^True. Every profession is stressful and comes with its pressures. But not every profession entails the kind of pressure where you have to compromise on your moral values to “fit in” with the A-listers or the in-crowd. Now that is a tremendous amount of pressure compared to other careers. I don’t want my kid, especially if it’s a girl, to have to shed her clothes or to drink (even if it’s for a movie), or to be confronted with issues like the casting coach, etc. It’s also a very, very superficial industry…and that level of superficiality is dangerous. Even the more seemingly decent or harmless acting arena such as Pakistani dramas comes with its pressures too.
