Would you Accept the Rishta Part II (for Men) ?

Yes and no, all boils down to if I can feel the chemistry between ourselves. If I can relate to her and she is fun to be arouund with then why not.

Whatever! I’ve seen the same discrimination occur in Pakistani families living in the West AND East.

I’m Sorry I didn’t mean to offend you. :frowning:

I know I shouldn’t put a whole group of people down like that… you are right there’s good and bad apples everywhere. Pakistanis are no better than anyone else…

I didn’t mean to be racist or anything, I get on better with Arabs than I do with Desis, my closest friends are Arabs…

 :flower1:

Getting back to topic…

I am attracted to all races, so yeah I would marry a black woman if she were a Muslima.

Some people’s facial features suit dark skin and some look better with a fairer complexion. It depends on the person. Dark skin doesn’t necessarily mean unattractive. I’ve seen a lot of black people who are mouth wateringly gorgeous.

Pehle aap un ethnic groups ko to accept karlen jo Pakistan/India mai exist karte hain phir blacks aur whites ki baat kijiyega…Punjabis still have a problem marrying pathans, gujratis have a problen marrying sindhis, etc…Let them unite first then talk about OTHER races!!

That’s why I believe that South East Asians are one of the most prejudice groups of people out there. Not all of course.

True, it does happen but its not always the case.

My dad is Pathan and my mom is Baloch.

This is a crazy thread. There seems to be no problem man, what the hell is the big deal if she's from Africa. Grow up and marry her.

I wouldn't marry a black girl. I have dated black women. The ones I have dated were Americans. So I have not dated a muslim black girls. All the ones that I knew were muslims and black both were either too religious or too homely( My term for a girl who is stay home kind). So if I were to meet a black girl who is my type and speaks my language and we are perfect match in all sense of the word and pretty. Then it would be itneresting.

BTW: Are we talking about a real person here, or we are just talking hypothetically? Cuz if a real person exists, this makes the discussion a whole lot relevant. I ll write again in that case.

^ Last few replies are impressive, and eye-opening. Well done lads!! :k: Round of beer on me. hehe just joking

Sure, most definitely.

I'm not a fan of "fair" skin.

In fact, I prefer a chocolate hue. Women with darker skin tend to wrinkle less as they grow older, and there is an unmatched richness to their tone.

I'm not a member of a high-class Pakistani society, nor do I want to be, so class considerations are pretty much irrelevant.

If she knows Urdu and is aware of the norms of what I'm assuming is Urban-contemporary Pakistani culture, not backwater village culture, she could teach me and my family a few things, and we could teach her.

Say you were faced with two women:

  1. Fair, beautiful, nasty personality and doesn't respect you as a man.
  2. Black, beautiful, kind personality and does respect you as a man.

You have a rishta for these two women. Which would you choose?

if I have only these two choices I would go for the 2nd one!
