^ u are right reha. Thank god before I had mine, I was told such stories and I realised the best thing for a baby is literally a box hehe He gets so happy if I hand him boxes of items I use.

Snowsuits/Jackets -
Although we live in a colder area, his snow suits & jackets didnt get used much. He was gifted soo many of them and he ended up wearing only 3-4 of them. He hates how his arms feel packed in snowsuits. Jackets are not warm enough for winters for outdoors as snowsuits are a must and not needed indoors as its warm enough… So were pretty much a waste for us!
Medela bottles -
my son never got the hold of sucking on them, he prefered Avent always.
Toys - stuffed & rattles & what not!
He got gifted 3 baby gyms.. Only 1 got used. About 10+ stuffed toys.. He doesnt even bother looking at them. Rattles another 10+ .. He starts hitting his ownself with them so pretty much a hazard.

As for car seats, true that they are a safety need. We all use them. But on my recent trip to Pakisan, i realized that there is no use of car seat there as none of the cars had seat belts installed at the back. I had to carry him in my lap… And when i did put in the car seat, i had to hold it in place myself so wasnt really helpful in terms of safety.
Also, everyone is getting way too judgemental and short tempered with Buttons … Hers is only an opinion that too much dependence isnt good.. Afterall millions of people in Pakistan, India and such places did grow up without car seats … But its still a fact that they grew up in an unsafe environment overall.So lets respect her opinion as well.

I remember once I was missing my niece so badly and bought her this gorgeous giant designer cupcake from a specialty bake shop. She took one look at it and said
“But you always get me munchkins from Dunkin Donuts”
