Dont know if baby swings worked for anyone but they def did not work for my son. That and any button up onesies. the best were clothes with zippers.

I can understand why people in Pakistan don’t use car seats , but what I don’t get is why many people in the middle east don’t use them even though the speed at which a lot of drivers drive is well over 120km/hr. The accident rates are so high over there too…

^I have never seen any kid/baby without carseat here in the middle east…so far…
But yes no one examines if the children are in carseats or.not…
Other thing is if we are driving safely for our children…you are still.not safe…
My husband had a really badaccident a few days ago…the other car hit his car(was driving too fast and couldnt control.the brakes)…so why take a chance?

let me tell you one thing most of the cars in Pakistan don’t have option to fix car seat alone, most cars don’t have seat belts. even the car I used to have was without seat belts. when police became strict in isb then I had installed seat belts myself.

deme more than 50 % ppl live in these streets , most of the ppl don’t even have their own cars taxi, motorcycles.

I have seen so many kids wthout car seat in middle east because not much strictness, I remember I was prego when I read about accident on jumeriah road in dxb , 7 month old baby girl was sitting in mum’s lap and she died at spot the baby came out of wind screen. we ourself have accident our car was not even in the condition to be repaired we had to scratch it but we all were fine including my 1 year old girl. me n huby always had fight he used to say take her out when she cries and I was like no way uss din k bad he never asked me again

Devilish I understand how much of Pakistan is without cars but if u can buya car, you need to have a carseat. I feel so angry at parents who are educated and can afford both and they don’t do it. I’ve heard of baby dying same way you described in family friends and you witnessed this so we are aware and do enforce car seat. I wish others would too

^ yes thts the problem na car tu ha but uss mei install karnay ki option nhi hoti… and honestly ppl in pak don’t consider it necessary and important even wheni go to pak mujhe bhi kehtay ab yahn tu bakash do bachi ko. my mil always say hi meri poti maa baap bandh k bheta detay han :rotato:

wasay back to topic for me baby bath tub was totally waste because I used bathing seat till 1 year after tht direct under shower in bath tub. didn’t even used it even once.
all those rattle toys , stuff toys.
baby menciure kit total waste, I realized simple your nail clipper or small scissor also work no need for whole kit.

Reminds me when i was (air)travelling with my toddler alone to pakistan and he was on my lap wearing seatbelt and those pakistani aunties were sitting beside me…they were literally forcing me to take out his seat belt and was saying ‘dum ghut jaega bachay ga hata do seat belt itna zulm na kero’ lol

and when I was travelling on PIA I asked for seat belt for my 8 months old daughter and sir hostess told me we don’t have seat belt maa k hathon se bhar kr koi seat belt nhi

Fancy toys. The fancier the toy the more it gets ignored in my experience with the kids in my house. They just want to play ball in the backyard.
