Re: World without Religion
Medical reasons are not enough as Medical reasons require scientific base, and what is ok today, could turn out to be unhealthy, tomorrow. Which means that tomorrow if they can synthesize alcohol that is not bad for liver, or prove that drinking wine is good for heart, we would have no reason to stop anyone from drinking.
For your second comment, “bad things” is a very subjective term. What is bad for you, could be good for me. Religion provides us with standards that are same for everyone in any circumstances.
