Watch a match! Although I cant really remember the two teams playing as this match was all about the Ref! God Bless him. I sympathise with him completely mind, half of what was going on the pitch is what I have to put up with on the playground when im on duty at the school I work at!
I have new found respect for Portugal though, I can’t believe they still managed to win after all they did, however some of the Dutch players were dirty too.
Cannit wait for the England match, Deco out, sadly Figo might be out too… It’s going to be a belta!

I am not talking about his injury. He headbutted Van Bommel. Ref didnt see that and he only yellow carded him after a dutch player complained. If Fifa officials see this video, he could be banned.

i think saby meant figo headbutting the dutch player who then flopped and laid down on the ground (rondupan). it didnt look dangerous but was intentional and provocative. can a player be suspended later on when the video is reviewed by the officials?

It was the referee who marred this game as early as the 2nd minute when he booked Van Bommel, common sense should have prevailed and he simply could have told one or two of the players to be careful, but he started handing out cautions for nothing tackles, figo is and always has been a cheat, that being said some of the players didnt help their cause with some rash tackles.
To sum up the game for anyone who missed it, 16 yellow and 4 red cards were issued, the referee was rubbish as usual and it wasnt the first time he was out of his depth to manage such a game, his performances in some of this seasons Champions league games were appaling.
And why in the hell didn't Ruud my main man play, Van Basten got that decision wrong.

you saw that Portugal are growing into the tournament.
They can beat England without Deco, and then against Brazil, Deco will be fully fit again and can cause problems. So I see Portugal reaching the final

English again will be up against a depleted portugese team, making quarterfinals much easier for them.

Yes. Judging by England’s performance today, Portugal will still win the match, without three of its key players!

Figo isn't a cheat: he was just using the situation, and knew Boulahrouz is inexperienced and the ref will give a card easily. Judging from the flow of the match, he used it to his advantage. It's his experience. World-class players should have this baggage in their arsenal

Nescio you aren't making any sense, he cheated full stop, the replay clearly showed the guy's arm simply brushed Figo's face and he went down like Tyson V Holyfield.
As for you saying world class player's should encorporate this in their arsenal is the most ridicilous post i've read today.
