It's horrible, horrible, horrible.

I don't think that coach will be allowed to enter France anymore.

Two defining moments in the match:

  1. Vieira gets injured and none of his teammates comes to inquire how he's doing

  2. Zidane gets substituted and doesn't look at the coach, instead throws his wristband at the bench.

But that coach is really really really stupid.
If you know Zidane is suspended for the next match, and this is probably his last ever match, you do NOT, I repeat, you do NOT substitute him in the 91st minute.
If you know Trezeguet has scored almost 150 goals in the SerieA in the last 5 seasons, and you know he is considered one of the best strikers in the world at the moment (first of all you have him start the match, but nevertheless), you do NOT bring him on in the 91st minute with only 2 minutes left.

Nescio I agree, the frrench coach must be an idiot to not get results with the quality of players that he has. Zidane is a gentleman and is not one who gets upset at coaching decisions and his actions spoke loud about what may be going on in the france camp. I am still confused about the attitue of the team towards Viera, does not make sense.

French coach really is stupid. But I still think France will make it to the next round by beating Togo and swiss will go out.

Feel sad for Zidane though if he finished his career in this way.

Considering that Zidane is a veteran, he should've be wiser than to run into the Korean. It doesn't really matter if the Korean took a dive and embellished. The fact of the matter is that zidane still ran into him.

At that point in the match, with a dangerous scoring position and late in a tied WC match, Zidane should've used his head.

2 More exciting game left in frst round. Group is still open with hope for all teams except Togo still alive.
I think France will beat Togo
Korea will either draw or defeat Switzerland.

Korea & France will move on. France ass will be kicked by Spain then. :D

Swiss are leading at 25th minute of the game. If France can clinch this one, it would be a killer France vs Spain in 2nd round.

Zidane was not impressive at all in this WC and in 2002 also.

I really hope France qualify some how but with the chances they are missing, it seems far away. Trezeguet has missed at least three sitters :smack:

Koreans lag Swiss 0-1 but will qualify in case of another french draw
